  We received an email from your organization wanting our employee’s personnel information under a public records request.

   

  This email informs you that we are a free-standing nonprofit organization in the State of North Carolina, which is not a government entity.

   

  That said, we cannot provide you with personnel records, as that is not legal for us to provide under North Carolina and Federal law. That is why North Carolina Chapter 132 does not apply to nonprofit organizations, as the law forces us to protect the information that government entities have immunity to give out.
