  Please reply promptly to the following public records request, which I’m making in accordance with NC Public Records Law. https://www.ncleg.net/enactedlegislation/statutes/html/bychapter/chapter_132.html

   

  The WMPCS’s “Operation and Board Policies” indicate that:

   

  “The Board shall keep full and accurate minutes of all official meetings (including closed sessions). Such minutes may be in written form or, at the Board’s option, may be in the form of sound or video and sound recordings. When the Board meets in closed session, it shall keep a general account of the closed session so that a person not in attendance would have a reasonable understanding of what transpired. Minutes of legitimate closed sessions are public records, but they may be withheld from public inspection so long as public inspection would frustrate the purpose of the closed session. The minutes of open sessions and accounts of closed sessions may be in written form or video and/or audio recordings.”

   

  The WMPCS Board of Trustees web page lists an Agenda for a “Special Called Meeting” on March 27, 2024 @ 7:00pm. Please provide the Board’s official meeting minutes from that meeting. This should include Board Members present, any action items, any motions made, members voting for / against any motions presented, and any special guests who attended the meeting to present information to Board Members.

   

  I am explicitly asking that you DO NOT provide me with any confidential / sensitive / or personally identifying information about specific students or their data (if that type of info happens to be contained in the responsive records).

   

  ** I’m simply requesting an electronic copy of an electronic record, if one exists. I’m NOT asking for the opportunity to come in person to “inspect”, nor to obtain a printed copy of, this electronic record. I’m requesting explicitly that any responsive info be provided to me via the electronic medium / electronic format (in which the copy of this record already exists). If you are unable to fulfill any or all parts of this request, please specifically cite where a reason for denial is justified under NC Public Records Law. **
