Buncombe County Vehicle Registrations

Hello Sunshine Requests!

I would like to have access to some information regarding vehicle registrations within Buncombe County. I see quite a few out of state license tags in and around Asheville, and it made me curious. I’d like to know the number of vehicle tags applied for by newcomers to the state within Buncombe County for the last 5 years. The law says that new residents must surrender their tags to the DMV and receive North Carolina plates within a certain time period, so an accounting of how many of those occurred each year since 2013 would be beneficial.
