  As required by North Carolina General Statute Chapter 132 and the North Carolina Public Records Act, this letter is a response to your request for access to public records, which was received by this office on March 10th, 2020. You specifically request the following: “Please provide all emails sent between Sheriff William (Bill) Beam and Deputy Charles (CJ) Jones from 04/01/19 – 02/17/2020 as it relates to the start-up, or implementation, of a DARE program. I would ideally like to receive the document in PDF format.

   

  Additionally, please provide any email correspondence between Deputy Charles (CJ) Jones and Eric Rowell between 06/01/2019 – 12/31/2019.”

   

  This office has reviewed the records requested and have found no email correspondence between Sheriff Beam and Deputy Charles Jones as it relates to the start-up, or implementation of a DARE program here at the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office nor any email between Deputy Charles Jones and Eric Rowell.
