Editor’s Note to Sender: The submission above has been marked as “Completed.”

We have followed all the links provided to us by City of St. Louis, logged into the records portal to view our open request / account, reviewed all additional information shown within our account, as well as a list of options for where to send requests within the City — And having done all of this, it is still unclear where / how to send the request.

It’s a bit difficult to explain without being able to show the sender exactly what our side of the request portal looks like, so we’ve attached a few screenshots and documents that we were able to access. (Please see this at top left in our “Documents” section). The URLS below may be helpful as well:

    https://stlouismo.govqa.us/WEBAPP/_rs/(S(rczosfg05quzei3ftugodohq))/AnswerDetail.aspx?&inc=180

    https://stlouismo.govqa.us/WEBAPP/_rs/(S(rczosfg05quzei3ftugodohq))/SupportHome.aspx?sSessionID=

You will likely need to create your own account to login to the City’s portal, so that you can also see the options/ accompanying documents / other info / the City provides about how to make a request.

We encourage the sender to take the necessary steps to submit a request directly to the City, following any instructions within the portal. Or, if you’d like to submit a future request through our website, then you will need to please specify the exact department(s) the request should be made out to within the portal. As you will see, we would need to send individual requests to every applicable department — This means you will also need to check first whether it is even an option to contact that department within the portal —- I believe the only way to see that info is for you to create an account.

We apologize for any inconvenience. This is a learning experience for our team as well, and in our opinion the records portal is set up in an overly complex and unclear way through St. Louis Gov.

    Thank you for your understanding!

    Good afternoon,

No — that is not accurate. I do not wish to submit my request to the Airport, or to some other department. I only included the “Supply Division” ([email protected]) because that email address was included on your website, under the “Buyer Information” for this particular Bid:
    https://www.stlouis-mo.gov/government/procurement/single-procurement-view.cfm?id=6B192FC1-155D-253C-18CE4BD549410103&dept=supply

Those records can and should be provided to me from the City of St. Louis Government, since these RFPs were submitted through your website / organization, and included contact info for either a current or former employee with an address that ends in @stlouis-mo.gov

I can see however, that the wording of my original Message may have been confusing. Therefore — you can please revise the request to read as follows:
