(February 2023) Request for Polk County, NC Government: Employees and salaries as of 02/01/2023 or present day.

Hello Polk County, NC Government (Records Officer),

I’d like to make a public records request for the following information under NC Public Records Law
Ref: https://www.ncleg.net/enactedlegislation/statutes/html/bychapter/chapter_132.html

Please provide a list of ALL current Polk County, NC employees and their salaries, as of 02/01/2023 (or on the date the query is performed). Please include the following:

1) Name of employee
2) Original hire date
3) Current department
4) Current position
5) Current salary

Ideally, I’d like to receive the responsive records in an Excel format, if possible.

If any / all of this info is already publicly available online, please provide a link to where it can be accessed.

Please Note: I am not requesting to come in person to inspect, nor to obtain printed copies of, electronic records. In accordance with NC Public Records Law, I’m requesting explicitly that all responsive records be provided via an electronic medium / format (in which the records should already exist), such as an email, file share, google drive folder, mailed flash drive if necessary, etc.

**I do not have any additional or further clarifying info to provide other than what you see in the message above. If you are unable to fulfill any or all parts of this request, please specifically cite where a reason for denial is justified under NC Public Records Law.**
