I reviewed your records request form at https://clevelandcountyschools.formstack.com/forms/public_information_request_form. Several of the “mandatory” fields indicated on your form are not actually required by Law, so I cannot submit my request to you in your preferred format. Therefore, I’m submitting it to you all directly, as you are the primary custodian(s) of these records, and by Law are now obligated to proceed to fulfill the request.

This request relates to any Cleveland County Schools (Shelby, NC) School Board Attorney and their contract, invoices, or payments during the specific time period of 01/01/2021 through the present day:

A) Please provide the electronic copy of all contracts between Cleveland County Schools and their Board Attorney, including any original agreements, amendments and changes (including but not limited to changes in contract terms, retainer fees, hourly rates), renewals, or extensions.

B) Please provide the electronic copy of all invoices submitted by any School Board Attorney to Cleveland County Schools – including breakdowns of services provided, if possible.

C) Please provide the electronic copy of all payments made by Cleveland County Schools to any Board Attorney – including dates, and amounts. [This info should be easy to locate via bookkeeping records].

** I’m simply requesting an electronic copy of an electronic record, if one exists. I’m NOT asking for the opportunity to come in person to “inspect”, nor to obtain a printed copy of, this electronic record. I’m requesting explicitly that any responsive info be provided to me via the electronic medium / electronic format (in which the copy of this record already exists).
