    We received an additional submission on our site that attempts to address some of the points of clarification brought up related to this request above. However, that reply was not super clear, and as we do not know who makes the requests on our site, we do not typically change the details of a request once it has already begun processing.

     

    I would like to ask that you go please go ahead and “close” this request on your end. We will note any of the information you’ve provided for users on our site to see – and, if the sender would like to send us a new, clear, narrowed request which also specifies any persons/entities/addresses that should be included, we will be happy to send it your way once we have it.

    Good afternoon,

     

    Thank you for your request. Please note I will begin processing this request. We try to respond within 30 days, however, due to the pandemic it can take longer. We do them in the order received and we do have many in process. We will respond once we have produced the records that are responsive.

     

    I do have some questions about the request. I do not see an employee by the name of Shawn Joseph. We obviously are not the custodians of his records if he is not an employee. If he is someone that our employees have communicated with, do you have an email address as that will be the best way to try and search the files. I would like to note that sorting through emails, doing email searches, and them producing them to the legal team for reading and potential redaction of any information that is not public is very time consuming, so these types of requests, depending on the number of documents returned in the search can take a good amount of time and labor. Please keep that in mind.

     

    Again the more information you can provide the better we can search and respond. I will await your response in order to move forward.

    We’ve received a new public records request via our website for information that may be available in your office.

     

    I work for a website called Sunshine Request www.sunshinerequest.com. We built a site that makes it easier to make public records requests by filling out a simple form, and the results of any requests are posted on our site. This allows citizens to learn more about our local government, while saving staff from having to fulfill duplicate requests. If you have any questions about the project, please let me know, and I’ll be happy to answer.
