Thanks for your patience.
We understand that you made redactions “in accordance with applicable law”. However, for the clarity of our Team as well as the users on our website, can you please explain what info was redacted on the right side of the spreadsheet? Particularly — what kind of redacted info. is above the “Total quantity” ?
Please see just one example of this, attached [screenshot].
Thank you for your help!

In regarding to the following request:
Please provide the “bi-weekly timesheets” for ALL employees at the City of Wilson, NC “Wastewater Plant”, during the specific time period of 12/26/2023 through 01/08/2024. I am simply asking for the electronic copy of all Wastewater Plant employees’ hourly timesheets on the dates listed.
Looking at the document I received — it seems like you’ve redacted each individual employee’s rate of pay. And if so, then I understand that’s a valid exemption.
However, on the right side of the document it seems like you’ve left only the “total quantity of hours worked” visible, but there’s a redacted block above that which I assume would have included the total amount they were paid. I believe that the UNC SOG article you referenced, as well as David Lawrence’s book, both indicate that the amount the employees were paid is their salary, that information is public, and it should be included on the document.
If there is a dollar amount listed above the total quantity on the right side, then I feel strongly that this is a financial record, and it should be provided to me as you’ve done before (when you’ve fulfilled many other salary related requests for me in 2022 and 2023).
Thank you for your assistance!
