[July 2019] City of Asheville Anti-Retaliation Policy

Good Afternoon City of Asheville,

I would like to follow up on this request from 2017 related to the City's anti-retaliation policy for City staff:

In this request, it was indicated that "Human Resources staff are in the review process of a draft of a specific anti-retaliation policy."

Could you please provide the most recent draft of that policy, as well as any public records that indicate whether it has been adopted as a City policy?

    The City does not have one anti-retaliation policy. Retaliation is is covered in the City’s Ethics Policy, Workplace Harassment Policy and Equal Opportunity Policy.
