(July 2019) [New request for] Buncombe County Commissioner Benefits

Hello!

I would like to request a summary of benefits (health insurance, retirement, etc.) that Buncombe County Commissioners receive both during their terms as well as after their terms (if any).

Editor’s Note 07/22/19: Of note – In October 2018 we completed a request for “Buncombe County Commissioners pay/benefits“, which asked for Buncombe County Commissioner’s pay / benefits by year:

1. Commissioners name, pay, benefit by date.
2. Benefits paid for each commissioner
3. Any allowance/travel/technology
4. Do they receive health insurance/life insurance/401k/457 or other benefit
5. Reimbursements made to each commissioner such as mileage, training, travel, cell phone, food, etc in detail

    Hello Sunshine, The County Commissioners are entitled to benefits as set forth in the Buncombe County Personnel Ordinance (see page 10). Benefits start on page 51. Thank you
