(July 2022) Request for City of Brevard, NC Government: All employee salaries and benefits as of 06/01/22 (or present day)

Hello City of Brevard, NC (Records Officer),

I'd like to make a public records request for the following information under NC Public Records Law.
Ref: https://www.ncleg.net/enactedlegislation/statutes/html/bychapter/chapter_132.html

Please provide current salaries and benefits for all full-time, part-time, and contracted employees, as of 06/01/2022 (or as of the date the query is performed). Please included the following:

- First name / Last name
- Position / Title / Department
- Annual salary / benefits given
- Hours worked weekly / yearly
- First date of employment with City of Brevard

If possible, please provide this information in spreadsheet format (e.g. CSV) so that the information may be sorted.

** If you are unable to fulfill any or all parts of the request, please specifically cite where a reason for denial is justified under NC Public Records Law. **

Once again, we greatly appreciate that the City of Brevard has revised their policy and process with us since May 2021 regarding public records requests, bringing the City’s policy into alignment with NC Public Records Law.

    Attached you will find a report with the data requested with the exception of the Hire Date.

     

    Our system does not allow us to run a report with this data, and thus it will have to be a manual process in order to enter all the data by employee.

     

    If the requester wants this data, please know that it will take some time to pull since it is not an automated report and at this time our workload has several priority projects that must be done.
