(June 2020) Request for City of Asheville, NC police department “Inventory of Less Lethal Weapons”
Hi City of Asheville, NC Government (APD),
I'd like to make a public records request for the following information:
Please provide a copy of documents that list "all department approved less lethal weapon specifications as well as a complete inventory of all less-lethal weapons issued for official use by officers."
This inventory is maintained by the Logistics unit under APD Policy 403.8:
C. The Logistics Unit will maintain a listing of all department approved less lethal weapon specifications as well as a complete inventory of all less-lethal weapons issued for official use by officers. [4.3.1 e]
