I’d like to make a public records request for information that may be available in your office.
Please confirm receipt to let me know the request will begin processing, and if possible, please provide a rough estimate of when the request may be completed. I will plan on following up again at the end of the month if I have not heard back before then.

Message: “Hello City of Asheville, NC Government (and APD),
I’d like to make a multi-part public records request for the following information under NC Public Records Law:
1A) Please provide a list of all dates from 05/01/21 through 05/31/21 that APD Chief Zack has been absent during a work day for sick, vacation, designated holiday, or otherwise missing from work, during a normal work day. Please include the date(s), duration, and reason for the absence.
1B) Please provide Chief Zack’s annual salary during this same time period.
1C) Please include the amount of paid days off he has been “gifted” by the City Government during this same time period.

2A) Please provide a list of all dates from 05/01/21 through 05/31/21 that APD Deputy Chief Baumstark has been absent during a work day for sick, vacation, designated holiday, or otherwise missing from work, during a normal work day. Please include the date(s), duration, and reason for absence.
2B) Please provide Deputy Chief Baumstark’s annual salary during this same time period.
2C) Please provide the amount of paid days off he has been “gifted” by the City Government during this specific time period.
