(June 2026) Request for Vermont Agency of Education: Related to the Hartford, VT School Board. 01/01/2023 – 05/31/2026.

Good afternoon Records Officer / Custodian(s) of these Records,

Please reply promptly to the following public records request, which I’m making in accordance with the Vermont Public Records Act.

This request relates to waivers possibly granted to Nancy Russell to serve on the Hartford, VT School Board while concurrently employed by the Hartford, VT School District. If such records exist – please provide electronic copies of the following records covering the specific time period of January 01, 2023 through May 31, 2026:

A. Waiver applications or requests submitted by the Hartford, VT School District, Nancy Russell, or any other person or entity on their behalf – for both the initial waiver, and any subsequent extensions or new waivers.

B. The official decisions or letters from the secretary of Education granting these waivers.

C. Any related correspondence or documentation related to the deliberation, evaluation, evidence, and consideration regarding Nancy Russell's eligibility for any waiver and the approval process and decisions.

For all of the above. Please send all response documents electronically. If the files are too large for an attachment via email, then a secure download link or public Google Drive folder etc. would be greatly appreciated.
