  Hello. The Town has not conducted direct studies regarding the implementation of LED street lamps, but has had numerous conversations with Duke Energy regarding these replacements and replacement of other lighting fixtures to improve efficiency, promote conservation and mitigate environmental impacts due to lighting.

Seeing as though our area is solely dependent upon coal-generated electricity, and improvement in energy conservation is hugely important!
