I’d like to make a public records request for information that may be available in your office.

I’d like to make a multi-part public records request for the following information under NC Public Records Law.

A. Please provide a list of all Buncombe County, NC Health and Human Services employee salaries on both June 01, 2021 and on December 31, 2021. If it is not possible to query the information by date in that way, then please provide these records as of “present day” (date the query is performed). Ideally, I would like to receive this information in either an Excel or PDF format so that it can be easily sorted.
B1. During the specific time period of 01/01/2021 – 12/31/2021…
– Please provide a list of all Buncombe County, NC Government Employees with “re-classifications” and or any “increases in pay” that were given to any employee. Please include the reason for the increase. Ideally, I would like to receive this information in either an Excel or PDF format so that it can be easily sorted.
– Please provide a list of all Buncombe County, NC Government Employee “re-classifications” that included large increases in pay (increase in pay that was over $2,000), and/or any increases in pay that were separate from their annual increase. Please do not include “annual increases.” Ideally, I would like to receive this information in either an Excel or PDF format so that it can be easily sorted.
B2. Please provide any County policies or public documentation that specify who determines these increases in pay. This should also include whether the increases in pay and re-classifications were approved by County Commissioners or County Staff. And if so, who approved them.
