I’d like to make a public records request for information that may be available in your office.

Please confirm receipt to let me know the request will begin processing, and if possible, please provide a rough estimate of when the request may be completed. I will plan on following up again around early April if I have not heard back before then.
Here are the details of the request:
Subject: (March 2022) Request for City of Asheville, NC Government: Information related to APD “augment shifts” total hours logged, calls dispatched, foot patrols, reports, arrests, and citations 01/01/21 – 03/24/22 (or present day)
Message: “Hello City of Asheville, NC Government (Records Officer),
I’d like to make a public records request for the following information under NC Public Records Law.

Related to Asheville Police Department – Please provide the following information during the time period of January 01, 2021 through March 24, 2022 (or as of the date the query is performed), for each of the following APD Employees as relates to “augment shifts” specifically:
– Michael Lamb
– Johnathan Brown
– Jackie Stepp
For each of the three named, please include:
– Total hours logged
– Number of calls dispatched
– Number of calls initiated
– Number of times checked out on “foot patrol”
– Number of reports taken
– Number of arrests
– Number of citations
** I am only requesting to know total numbers overall — Please do not include personally identifiable information about individuals (other than APD staff) such as name, address, incident #, citation #, case # etc. Sunshine Request will not publish that type of safety information on their website.
