    While we are most familiar with North Carolina Public Records Law, we do have experience sending requests to many other states within the US.

     

    I assume your reply refers to language I’ve also located online for the “VIRGINIA FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT RIGHTS OF REQUESTORS AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE VIRGINIA LOTTERY”, found here: https://www.valottery.com/-/media/Images/legal/VFOIA-Rights-and-Responsibilities-Statement-2019

     

    I’ve noted that this document says:

     

    “The Virginia Lottery also fulfills certain public records requests from:

    • out-of-state Lottery prizewinners,

    • out-of-state requestors of public information/a public record already posted to a Lottery-owned

    website/application and/or available at a Lottery venue or other agency website, and

    • out-of-state vendor requestors of an existing contract copy and/or amendment(s).”
