Hello Buncombe County Tourism Development Authority (Records Officer),

I’d like to make a public records request for the following information under NC Public Records Law

Please provide all audio or video recordings of all Regular and Special meetings of the Buncombe County Tourism Development Authority [BCTDA] from May 25, 2022 through the present day (date the query is performed).

** Please Note: I am simply requesting an electronic copy of an electronic record, if one exists. I am NOT asking to come in person to inspect this electronic record. I’m requesting explicitly that any responsive info be provided to me via an electronic medium / format (in which the copy of this record should already exist). If you are unable to fulfill any or all parts of this request, please specifically cite where the reason for denial is justified under NC Public Records Law.**

    Hello Sunshine Request Team,

     

    Thank you for letting us know about the outdated link. It has now been updated.

     

    May 25, 2022 is the last meeting recording and it can be viewed here. It is posted on AshevilleCVB.com, along with all other meeting recordings.

     

    As a public authority, the BCTDA went to remote meetings during the Covid state of emergency declared by the governor of NC. Now that it’s safe and normalized to attend regular in-person meetings, we decided to continue to live stream as a convenience but no longer record meetings.

     

    Board meeting presentations, minutes, and financials are all available online to the public as they were prior to Covid, and can be found here.

Please note that the Contact Information currently on your website for Ashley Greenstein is hyperlinked to the email address for Kathi Peterson ([email protected]). This is why my original email included Kathi. Can you please correct that contact info. on your website?
