Please reply promptly to the following multi-part public records request, which I’m making in accordance with NC Public Records Law. https://www.ncleg.net/enactedlegislation/statutes/html/bychapter/chapter_132.html
** I’m simply requesting an electronic copy of an electronic record, if one exists. I’m NOT asking for the opportunity to come in person to "inspect", nor to obtain a printed copy of, this electronic record. I’m requesting explicitly that any responsive info be provided to me via the electronic medium / electronic format (in which the copy of this record already exists). If you are unable to fulfill any or all parts of this request, please specifically cite where a reason for denial is justified under NC Public Records Law. **
This request is related to National Incident Management System [NIMS] required Incident Command System [ICS] training.
Please provide proof (as required for NIMS) of Federal Emergency Management Agency [FEMA] compliance for ALL Alexander County, NC Sheriff Department employees, in all Divisions and Departments under the purview of the Sheriff. I believe that ICS levels 100, 200, 300, 400, 700, and 800 training requirements vary based on leadership level, so the appropriate rank structure should provide the corresponding certification. Additionally – please provide the same training for the Fire Department (if required in their contract), as well as EMS personnel under the Alexander County purview.
All the responsive records requested should include the specific time period of October 10, 2023 through March 07, 2024.
