(May 2020) Request related to Huntersville, NC Police Department vehicle tracking software info

Hello, Huntersville, NC [Government / Police Department],

I would like to make a public records request for the following information during the time period of 05/01/17 through 05/13/20:

Please provide any and all contracts, invoices, receipts, and/or communications regarding Huntersville, NC Police Department and their police vehicle tracking software they are/have been implementing in the town owned police vehicles.

Please include the contract terms (including initial costs, recurring costs, vendor name, and length of contract). The requested information should also include which town employee(s) approved the contract.

    After reviewing the request and discussing it with the Police Department, there are no other documents to release. I was told by the Police Department that the first invoice (file entitled T MOBILE GEO PORTAL UNITS which was previously released) is the agreement. The e-mails previously released provide information on the quote, costs, approval, etc.).

     

    Please note some information in the e-mails was redacted to protect the security of the system.
