(November 2019) Request related to fire department smoking policies, and fire department funding in Buncombe County, NC

Hello Buncombe County, NC Government,

I’d like to make a public records request for the following information. The results of this request should be responsive from 11/09/19 - 11/26/19:

1. Are firemen allowed to smoke or use any tobacco products while working at any of our Buncombe County fire departments?
2. Does Buncombe County Gov. own the property where the fire departments are located?
3. Do Buncombe County fire departments use Buncombe County tax dollars to operate?

    Hello Sunshine, Buncombe County Fire Departments are separate entities, I would direct these questions to those fire departments. We do not have records responsive to these questions.
