(November 2019) Request related to possible “asbestos removal bids” for Buncombe County, NC Schools

Hello Buncombe County, NC Schools,

I’d like to make a public records request for the following:

I believe that the Buncombe County School system is asking for bids for asbestos removal. Please provide the names of the schools which contain asbestos, and the location within each school that has asbestos as of 11/30/19.

    We are required to seek out an asbestos removal contractor every three years and secure a standard price. This is a routine request for bids and is not a project-driven request.
