Our apologies, but upon reviewing what you sent back we noticed that the original requester’s message included the following part: “Please provide a copy of your current EC Directors contract”
The EC Directors contract was not sent over and we just wanted clarification around that bit. We are going to reopen the request until we receive this information from you.

Currently Dr. Pam Watkins serves as the Interim Director of Exceptional Children’s Programs for Rockingham County Schools System. Dr. Watkins received her Doctorate in Special Education from Virginia Tech University in Blacksburg, VA. She holds a North Carolina Professional Educator’s License in Exceptional Children (K-12), Exceptional Children Program Administrator, and Marketing Education (6-12). Dr. Watkins has been an educator for 25 years with 15 of those years dedicated and spent in the classroom, as the EC Program Specialist and now as the EC Interim Director. The Human Resource Department has posted the position of the EC Director and hopes to conduct interviews in the near future. Until that time, Dr. Pam Watkins fulfills the roles and responsibilities of the Director of the Exceptional Children’s Programs which are outlined in the attached document. Thank you.
