(November 2022) Request for Lincoln County, NC Government: All current employee salaries as of present day

Hello Lincoln County, NC Government (Records Officer),

I'd like to make a public records request for the following information under NC Public Records Law.
Ref: https://www.ncleg.net/enactedlegislation/statutes/html/bychapter/chapter_132.html

Please provide Employee Names and Salaries for ALL current Lincoln County Gov. employees. As of present day (date the query is performed). Please include the following:

- Employee Name
- Position / Title / Department
- Date of Hire
- Current salary

Ideally, I’d like to receive the responsive records in an Excel format, if possible.

If any / all of this info is already publicly available online, please provide a link to where it can be accessed.

On a personal note -- I'd like to suggest, if has not already been considered, that up-to-date salary information is proactively made “public” on the County’s website, so that it does not have to be obtained via public records request. It is in the public interest to provide this information.
