2. What is the total cost for the benefit?

    Hello,
    Please see below responsive to this request-

     

    There are about 81 BCS vehicles that are assigned service vehicles, primarily for maintenance and transportation employees. These are employees who are ‘on call’ 24/7 and needed to respond and assist with situations like emergency mechanical breakdowns (for BCS and Asheville City Schools as well as other counties that may be traveling to Buncombe) and maintenance emergencies that might occur after hours. During winter months, these employees are also responsible for checking roads overnight and in the early morning hours to help determine the school schedule during weather events.
