I’d like to make a new public records request for info that may be available in your office(s).

If you’re not the appropriate party to contact about this request, please provide the correct name and email address of whom I should send it to. A. Please provide the budgeted amount for the maintenance and upkeep of the walking / bike path in Transylvania County for the 2023 - 2024 year. Please include a breakdown in the following categories:

1. Number of man hours budgeted.
2. Total pay budgeted for man hours.
3. Equipment purchases.
4. Please list all other items that have been budgeted for the walking / bike path for the 2023 - 2024 year.

B. Please provide the following information for the walking / bike path, during the time period of 01/01/2023 through 10/01/2023.

1. The total number of man hours by City employees used on the walking / bike path.
2. Total amount of pay, for same.
3. Please provide any other expenses that have been used for the maintenance, upkeep etc.

THE CITY ALSO HAS A CAPITAL PROJ FUND (ESTATOE TRAIL) (78-6300-4400) WHICH THE GENERAL FUND CONTRIBUTED AN ADDITIONAL $82,000 TO.

     

    B. Please provide the following information for the walking / bike path, during the time period of 01/01/2023 through 10/01/2023.

     

    1. The total number of man hours by City employees used on the walking / bike path.   WE DO NOT CURRENTLY TRACK THIS (BUT WE LIKELY WILL IN THE FUTURE) WE ESTIMATE 3 HOURS PER WEEK. KEY WORD IS “ESTIMATE”

    2. Total amount of pay, for same.   AGAIN, ESTIMATE, 3 x 39 WEEKS x $32.00 PER HOUR (THIS INCLUDES FRINGE BENEFITS) = $3,744 (AGAIN AN ESTIMATE)
