(October 2023) Request for City of Asheville, NC Government: List of all current Police Department employees and salaries as of present day.
MESSAGE:
Please provide a list of all current active City of Asheville, NC Police Officers, Police Department Employees / Staff, and their salaries, as of 10/11/2023 or present day [on the date the query is performed]. Please include the following:
1) Employee first / last name
2) Date of Hire
3) Position / Title / Department
4) Salary (including hourly wage, hourly rate, or salary — whichever payment structure is applicable to the employee]
Ideally, I’d like to receive these records in an Excel or other machine-readable format.
I acknowledge that this type of employee salary data should typically be available online already, via the City’s data portal:

However, according to that page the last date the salary data was updated was on “September 8, 2023”.
Please produce the records requested to me via email, as of today’s date or present day.
