  My name is Joey Petrack and I’m the Town Attorney for Blowing Rock. Please let this e-mail serve as the response to your public records request dated October 29, 2025.  As to your first request, attached, please find the electronic copy of Shane Fox’s current employment contract.  As to your second and third requests, please find the following responses:

   

  – Mr. Fox’s salary is $195,000.00 and has not changed since May 2024;

  – Mr. Fox received a performance bonus in the amount of $10,557.67, which was paid on June 26, 2025;

  – Health, Dental, Vision Insurance Paid dependent coverage paid monthly ($720.00 per month x 12 months = $8,640.00 per annum);

  – A take home vehicle is provided;

  – There is no car allowance;

  – There is no housing allowance; and

  – There is no cellular phone allowance.

  As relates to Town Manager Shane Fox, please provide the following:

   

  1) The electronic copy of Mr. Fox’s current employment contract.
  2) Mr. Fox’s total salary package, broken down by salary, travel allowance, cell phone stipend, housing allowance, etc. As of the present day.
  3) Please provide a list of all salary increases Mr. Fox has received from May 01, 2024 through the present day.

   

  If any / all of this info is already publicly available online, please provide a link to where it can be accessed.
