I'm writing to request the salaries of Vaya Health Employees, specifically the Care Management department. Curious how salaries have changed with NC Medicaid implementing "Tailored Care Management." I believe this information should be available as Vaya Health employees are considered state employees.

According to their website, Vaya Health currently operate(s) “… in the following North Carolina counties: Alamance, Alexander, Alleghany, Ashe, Avery, Buncombe, Caldwell, Caswell, Chatham, Cherokee, Clay, Franklin, Graham, Granville, Haywood, Henderson, Jackson, Macon, Madison, McDowell, Mitchell, Person, Polk, Rowan, Stokes, Swain, Transylvania, Vance, Watauga, Wilkes, and Yancey. Our region expanded to 31 counties when we consolidated with Cardinal Innovations Healthcare.”  https://www.vayahealth.com/about/

Please note: If you’re hoping to receive “all salaries for all employees of the ‘Care Management department’ in all counties as of the first day of every month, starting December 2022 – Present day” …  In our experience requesting salary data, it’s unlikely that Vaya Health will be able to query the data in that manner (on one specific date in time, or on every month over a period of time). We’re happy to send in a new request, once it’s revised / resubmitted to our site, but just wanted to note that possibility for your consideration when re-writing the request.

We’d ask that the sender please submit any new request to clearly indicate a specific date range and any other specific details, subject matter, message, etc. about the exact public records that are being requested.

It is important that what you are requesting is specific and reasonable, and is an actionable records request. Please specify the exact type of records you’d like to receive, rather than any “possible” or “potential” info that could be searched. Remember that the larger your request, the more time it usually takes to fulfill. Specificity will often help reduce the amount of time needed to process the request.
