From 07/24/2024 – 11/20/2024 we received emails from Lincoln County, NC Attorney Megan Gilbert in regard to the following records request. Most recently, we received another response from the County on 10/17/2025 @ 10:51 AM.
Including that request – currently, we have 3 “unresolved” requests submitted to Lincoln County, NC.
We cannot elaborate further about this matter to the users on our site, other than to share that we’re working to resolve the issues we have about our requests with the County. It is taking a while to do that, as we run Sunshine Request in addition to our primary business. There are often delays due to our availability, as well as the time it takes to address internal processes that go on behind the scenes.
At whatever point there is some resolution, our 3 requests with Lincoln County will be updated or marked as “Completed” on our website. Until this matter has been resolved, Sunshine Request ([email protected]) will not be sending any new requests to Lincoln County, NC.
