I’d like to make a public records request for information that may be available in your office.
Please confirm receipt to let me know the request will begin processing, and if possible, please provide a rough estimate of when the request may be completed. I will plan on following up again around mid-June if I have not heard back before then.

Message: “Hello Town of Haw River, NC Government (Records Officer),
I’d like to make a public records request for the following information under NC Public Records Law. Related to the Town of Haw River, NC personnel information – please provide the following items with respect to each full-time employee as of 05/01/2021:
1. Employee Name
2. Employee Age
3. Date of original employment or appointment to the service.
4. Current Position, Title, and Office to which the employee is assigned.
5. Current salary
6. Date and amount of each increase or decrease in salary with that
municipality.
7. Date and type of each promotion, demotion, transfer, suspension, separation, or other change in position classification with that municipality. ** Please include a general description of the reasons for each promotion with that municipality. **
8A. Date and type of each dismissal, suspension, or demotion for disciplinary reasons taken by the municipality.
8B. If the disciplinary action was a dismissal, please provide a copy of the written notice of the final decision of the municipality setting forth the specific acts or omissions that are the basis of the dismissal.
** If any responsive records like that do exist – Please do not include personally identifiable information about any individuals (other than the employee) making complaints or involved in incidents. Sunshine Request will not publish that type of safety information [Ex. Names, Dates, Addresses, Case numbers, etc. for individuals identified in incident reports or other personal actions] on their website.**
9. The terms of any contract by which the employee is employed whether written or oral, past and current, to the extent that the city has the written contract or a record of the oral contract in its possession.
