Sunshine Request will not fulfill the following types of requests:
☀️ Requests that are incomplete, non-specific, or vague.
Specifically – In order to further clarify / narrow the scope of the request, we’d ask that the sender please submit a new request, clearly indicating the requested time period for the responsive records (For example: “All emails sent from X to X from 01/01/20 – 04/01/20”).
This will help reduce the amount of time needed for our team to review and send the request, and will also reduce the likelihood that a government entity will need additional clarification in order to process the request.
