[See Editor’s Note](September 2020) Submission related to “Racial sensitivity training”

Would you please confirm if and when/how many occurrences the City of Asheville has held any type of training or discussions in which a "pre-requisite" to attend was being a "Black City of Asheville Employee" or a "non-Black employee".

Are City of Asheville employees required to identify their race on employment records?

Finally, is there any City of Asheville policy which prohibits discrimination/selection/participation in an event by an employee based solely upon race?
