(September 2019) Request for Alexander County, NC DSS employee salaries, and DSS budget proposal info
Hello Alexander County, NC Government,
I'd like to make a public records request for the following information related to Alexander County, NC Department of Social Services (DSS):
1. A list of all current Alexander County, NC DSS employees and their salaries, as of September 30, 2019.
2. I'd like to request the 2019-2020 Budget proposal for Alexander County, NC DSS. Relevant timelines included in this information should be July 01, 2019 - Sept. 01, 2019.

The requests on our site are sent to us anonymously. We do not have additional details to provide about the requests, other than what we receive from the sender. We will note your request for clarification on our site.

The July 01, 2019 – Sept. 01, 2019 timeline is additional info. we received from the sender visible in the admin section of our site. We will assume that this timeline is just the sender’s best guess as to when all the most recent info they are requesting may have occurred / become available. If this timeline isn’t applicable to the content of what is being request, please disregard.
In order to continue processing the request, we will interpret on the sender’s behalf that they “would like to request a copy of any budget requests, and budget proposals, submitted by Alexander County DSS in the spring. Additionally, they would like to request a copy of the budget that was approved by the commissioners for the 2019-2020 budget year.”

Are they requesting the budget request submitted by DSS in the spring or the budget that was approved by the commissioners for the 2019-2020 budget year? And exactly what info is requested for the July 1 – Sept 1, 2019 timeframe as far as budget info goes? Are they wanting specific line item amounts through Sept. 1?
Also, since salary info was requested through 9/30 and today is only 9/25, we will need to wait until after 9/30 to provide accurate info due to any payroll change forms coming through after today.
Please let me know how they wish to proceed. Thank you!
