How many employees does the Asheville Police Department currently employee (presently, on the date this query is performed)?

    For future reference, I believe in a previous email to us you clarified that all requests relating to APD should be sent directly to you and not Terry, right? Just let us know!

    Terry,

     

    This question came in why I was still on leave and I wasn’t aware it was outstanding. Apologies.

     

    APD currently has 288 employees. This includes sworn personnel, officers currently in field training, individuals going through Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET), and non-sworn personnel.
