    Good Afternoon,

    1) Please provide documentation of any money AND materials the ACS District has spent, or diverted, to support Community PODs using STATE funds that normally would be allocated to their Schools.

Response: There have been no diversion or expensed STATE funds to support the Community PODs as of 9/29/20. Students attending the Community PODs program have received “hotspots” if needed or requested, yet these are available for ALL ACS students. One funding source for the hotspots for ACS students is through STATE CRF (Coronavirus Relief Fund) specifically allotted “to provide funds to improve internet connectivity for students, in response to COVID-19, by providing community and home mobile Internet access points”.

    2) Please provide the legality of the usage of such funds under N.C. law. In conjunction with Community PODS.

    Response: N/A
