I’d like to make a public records request for information that may be available in your office.
Please confirm receipt to let me know the request will begin processing, and if possible, please provide a rough estimate of when the request may be completed. I will plan on following up again in early October if I have not heard back before then.

Message: “Hello Buncombe County, NC Sheriff’s Office (Records Officer),
I’d like to make a public records request for the following information under NC Public Records Law:
Please provide a list of all BCSO employees separated from the BCSO from December 01, 2018 through September 24, 2021 (or as of the date the query is performed).
– Employee name
– Title / Position at the time of separation
– Reason for separation
– A copy of the report of separation
“Separation” can also be interpreted to mean that an employee “… left the department, resigned, was terminated from their position” etc.
** If you are unable to fill any or all parts of this request, please cite specifically where a reason for denial is justified under NC Public Records Law. **
