Hello City of Asheville, NC Government,

I'd like to make a public records request for the following information:

Please provided records (including text messages sent and received, numbers dialed, and internet search history) for APD Captains Gudacc, Yelton, and Silberman, Chief Deputy Baumstark, and Chief of Police Zak on city issued cellphones from 01/01/2020 - 04/02/2020.

    There is no ideal or “need to have this by” date from the sender. We understand that records requests can take varying amounts of time for various reasons, and your office should please take whatever time needed to fulfill this request. We will hold for a month before checking in again on this particular request.

    Due to the time and effort required to redact law enforcement contact numbers and law enforcement investigative records, which is required by state law, this request will take a substantial amount of time to fulfill. If the requester would like to receive the response sooner, they should narrow the request.
    Please post this on your page and hopefully the requester will see the request and respond.
