I'd like to make a public records request for the following information under NC Public Records Law

Please provide a list of Employee Names and Salaries for all current Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools "Administration staff" as of the present day (date the query is performed). Please include the following:

2) Position / Title / Department
3) Date of Hire
4) Current salary (including hourly wage or salary. Whichever applies.)
Ideally, I’d like to receive the responsive records in an Excel format, if possible.
If any / all of this info is already publicly available online, please provide a link to where it can be accessed.

Thank you for your message.
I’m not entirely sure who does or doesn’t fall into the category of an “Administration staff” role at WS/FC schools. I would think that depends on how you and the school systems define that type of role.
However, a Google search I did defines “Administrative staff in schools” in several different ways:
“… School administrators fill leadership roles at academic institutions. They may be principals, vice principals, or work in admissions or student affairs. School administrators prepare class schedules, ensure curriculum standardization, as well as proper budget allocation.”
“… School Administrators oversee administrative tasks in schools, colleges or other educational institutions. They ensure that the organization runs smoothly and they also manage facilities and staff.”
“… School administration involves the management of all school operations, from creating a safe learning environment to managing the school budget. To further define school administration, one needs to consider the different areas of school administration and who performs these school administrative duties.”
“… At the elementary, middle, and high school levels, this work is demonstrated best by school principals, who may be responsible for duties such as: Overseeing teachers and support staff, Disciplining students, Implementing curriculum standards, Creating class schedules, Setting rules and security procedures, Monitoring student achievement data, Handling the school budget, Communicating with parents as needed.”
“… District and school administrators are responsible for providing instructional leadership and developing, implementing, and evaluating district and school systems and policies. District administrators include superintendents and central administration staff under the direction of a school board. School administrators mainly include principals and assistant principals. I do not have any additional information I can add to clarify this — so I will let you interpret what you feel the responsive records are that you’re able to provide. Whatever employees you feel may be included in a search for Current “Administration” employees at WS/FC.
Whatever results you’re able to provide will be satisfactory to me.In the future — I’ll encourage anyone making a new request like this one, to clarify the information.

The spreadsheet you’ve sent is quite long — Can you confirm whether the document is meant to be a list of “Administration Staff” specifically? It does not appear to be.
For example: a “MATH TEACHER” at “GLENN HIGH SCHOOL”… is Administrative Staff ?If this is a mistake, can you please send me the correct data as requested? I do not know by looking at this spreadsheet who all the employees are with the specific designation of “Administrative Staff”.
