(August 2020) Request for NC DHHS COVID-19 Clusters in Occupational, Educational, and Community Settings 03/01/20 – 08/11/20
To the Communicable Diseases Branch of the NC Division of Public Health, NC Department of Health & Human Services:
I'd like to make a public records request for the following information:
Please provide all North Carolina Electronic Disease Surveillance System Outbreak Event report data of COVID-19 Clusters in Occupational, Educational, and Community Settings from March 1, 2020 to August 11, 2020.
Specifically, this request seeks NC EDSS outbreak event data of COVID-19 clusters, including all COVID-19 Outbreak/Cluster Worksheets for the settings listed below, submitted by NC local health departments, as well as all NC EDSS Outbreak Events created by calls, emails and other contacts from NC local health departments reporting outbreaks and clusters to the Epidemiologist on Call and Communicable Disease Branch staff of events in the settings listed below.
Please provide public records of all North Carolina COVID-19 Outbreak Events in the following settings from March 1, 2020 to August 11, 2020:
1) Occupational settings, including:
o Food processing plants
o Production facilities
o Distribution facilities
o Factories
o Construction sites
o Retail settings
o Office buildings
2) Educational settings, including:
o Childcare facilities
o Schools
o Colleges or universities
3) Other community settings, including:
o Religious gatherings
o Camps
o Other large gatherings or events
