Please reply promptly to the following public records request, which is being made in accordance with NC Public Records Law.

** I’m simply requesting an electronic copy of an electronic record, if one exists. I am NOT asking for the opportunity to come in person to inspect, nor to obtain a printed copy of, these electronic records. I’m requesting explicitly that any responsive info be provided to me via an electronic medium / electronic format (in which the copy of these records should already exist).
I am unable to provide any further clarifying info to narrow this request. If the request is unclear, or if you are unable to fulfill any or all parts of the request, then please specifically cite where a reason for its denial is justified under NC Public Records Law. **
This is related to any request, solicitation, or agreement between municipalities to assist with non-town employee personnel matters.
If such a record exists:
Pursuant to NCGS § 132-1(a)(b) I am requesting records pertaining to any request, solicitation, fee or compensation, contract, memorandum of understanding or other agreement, either by email, text message or otherwise, pertaining to providing assistance and guidance with a personnel investigation of a non-town employee conducted by Town of Waynesville staff on a Town of Maggie Valley employee sometime between January 01, 2023 and July 31, 2023.
For clarification, this request is NOT asking for details of any investigation, case #, confidential employee information, or the outcome of said investigation – but IS asking for any records (as defined in the above statute) which have been communicated to the Town of Waynesville staff or any governing Board Member from the Town of Maggie Valley Town Manager or any governing Board Member, regarding a request to assist or to provide staff, services, advice or expertise, or guidance in an investigation of a non-town personnel matter to include any agreement between the two municipalities for this type of service.
Additionally, please provide the electronic copy of the Town of Waynesville personnel policy in effect during the period of time above.
