  If such a record exists, please provide the complete meeting minutes from a Wake County Schools Board of Education “Closed meeting” held on August 14, 2014.

  The minutes for the closed session on 8/14 consist of personnel information and student grievances, which are privileged and confidential information and cannot be publicly disclosed pursuant to NC GS 115C-319 and GS 115C-402 and FERPA.

   

  I also do not see any meeting info or documents for any meetings in September 2014 (as requested in Item #B). I assume that’s likely because “no meetings were held from August 06 through September 01, 2014”. Can you please clarify if that is correct?

  We have located the Board minutes between 8/5/14 and 9/16/14 since your last email. Please find the responsive documents attached, and thanks for your patience.

  I replied to Lisa’s message back on October 25th.

   

  To reiterate — I reviewed the document she provided. I’ve noted that there was a BOE “Work Session” held on August 05, 2014. However, I do not see any info that clarifies whether or not a “Closed Meeting” was held on August 14, 2014 (as requested in Item #A of my request). Additionally, I do not see any meeting info or documents for any meetings in September 2014 (as requested in Item #B). I assume that means that “no meetings were held from August 06 through September 01, 2014”, but I’ve asked repeatedly that you please clarify whether that understanding is correct.

   

  Today is now my fourth attempt to follow up with you all regarding that message since 10/25. I have not received any response.

   

  Having made all reasonable attempts to follow up with you, and having received no reply — I’m going to now mark this request as having been “Denied” by your organization. I would like to recommend that WCPS revisits their current public records request fulfillment process to ensure that you’re in compliance with the Law, and that you fulfill and respond to all requests in a timely manner.
