    Hey Kevin,

     

    Hope you’ve been doing well!

     

    In order to complete this request (Communications between Board of Education, School System Staff and Teachers), that was originally sent to your office on May 30th, 2018, we’re going to assume the attached documents pertain to this request and we can therefore mark this request as completed. We received these documents back in January upon checking our PO Box and we tried getting in touch with you about them but never heard back. The documents came to us in a manilla envelope stamped with a “mailed on” date of June 14, 2018. It just said “Records Request” on the envelope, and did not have a return address.

     

    If this is incorrect and these documents do not pertain to this request please let us know. We’re going to mark the request as completed.

    Good Afternoon Kevin,

     

    We hope you’re having a good 2020 so far!

     

    We apologize for the long overdue reply, and are now revisiting this May 2018 request titled “Communications between Board of Education, School System Staff and Teachers”. We haven’t been able to check our PO Box for a while, but have done so recently. We received a manilla envelope stamped with a “mailed on” date of June 14, 2018. It just said “Records Request” on the envelope, and did not have a return address.

     

    We’re assuming that the 4 pages of emails contained inside pertain to this request. However, we’re a bit confused by the date on the envelope since our last email correspondence with you about this request was on 02/15/2019 when you said the results were available in your office. We do not recall you requesting our mailing information in 2018, but if we’ve missed that reply somewhere we apologize.

     

    Can you please confirm whether the envelope was in fact sent by your office in June 2018? If so, we’re sorry it has taken so long for us to confirm receipt, and will post the results on our site now to officially “Complete” this request.

    I work for a website called Sunshine Request www.sunshinerequest.com. We built a site that makes it easier to make public records requests by filling out a simple form, and the results of any requests are posted on our site. This allows citizens to learn more about our local government, while saving staff from having to fulfill duplicate requests.     We received a request for information in your office back in May. We contacted Kevin Smith (CC’d on this email) who assisted with the request but has not communicated in regard to our follow ups since early June.
