(December 2019) Request for Asheville Police Chief search information

Hello City of Asheville, NC Government,

I'd like to make a public records request for the following information:

What is the cost to date of the second search in 2019 for a Police Chief? Please provide a list of expenses. If this does not already exist, and/or the City is unwilling to create it, please provide all associates receipts, quotes or bills.

    Dear Sunshine Request:
    The City spent the following on the most recent police chief search:
    $922.01 for catering for the selection processing; including interviews, internal meet and greets, and community meet and greet; and,
    $9,125.27 for travel expenses for candidates; the invoice for those expenses is here; and,
    $575.85 for travel expenses for an interview panel member. I am waiting to receive that invoice and will share it with you when I receive same.
    These are all of the expenses the city incurred for this search.
