Good afternoon City of Charlotte, NC Public Records Officer,
I’d like to make a public records request for information that may be available in your office.
If you’re not the appropriate party to contact about the request, please provide the correct name and email address of whom I should send it to.
Please confirm receipt to let me know the request will begin processing, and if possible, please provide a rough estimate of when the request may be completed. I will plan on following up again around the end of the month if I have not heard back before then.
Here are the details of the request:
Subject: (February 2022) Multi-part request for City of Charlotte, NC Government: Emails 07/01/2018 – 07/31/2021. And, invoices / payments 01/01/2019 – 11/17/2021.
Message: “Hello City of Charlotte, NC Government (Records Officer),
I’d like to make a public records request for the following information under NC Public Records Law.

A. Please provide copies of all emails sent to and sent from Mark Krouse (City of Charlotte Water) and Specialty Valve and Controls Company (location Charlotte, NC), during the specific time period of 07/01/2018 through 07/31/2021.
** As relates to emails – Please provide the files in a .PDF format so that they can easily be opened / viewed.
Please provide any .pdfs, other files, attachments, videos, hyperlinks, etc. that are indicated or referenced within the responsive records. For example: A .pdf that is an attachment within an email, should also be provided as a file along with the responsive emails. Or, a link should be provided so that the file can be opened.
B. Please provide copies of all invoices / payments between the City of Charlotte and Marvin Plumbing – Specifically, for any work performed on City property during the specific time period of 01/01/2019 through 11/17/2021.
