I’d like to make a public records request for information that may be available in your office.

I’d like to make a multi-part public records request for the following information under NC Public Records Law.

A. As relates to the Board of Education members and Superintendent of Schools.
Please provide any and all emails, skype, zoom, written correspondence, text, media communications sent between any and all members of the Board of Education or Jackson County Superintendent from 01/01/2021 – 02/09/2022. Specifically related to Covid 19 Bonuses and/or local, state, federal, bonuses, appreciations, supplements, average individual amounts, for each of the following types of employee in JCS:
Certified, and Non Certified. Bus Drivers, Custodians, Administrators, Teachers, Teacher Assistants, etc.
** Please provide the files in a .PDF format so that they can easily be opened / viewed. Please provide any .pdfs, other files, attachments, videos, hyperlinks, etc. that are indicated or referenced within the responsive records. For example: A .pdf that is an attachment within an email, should also be provided as a file along with the responsive emails. Or, a link should be provided so that the file can be opened.
B. As relates to the Board of Education members.
The request information should be accurate as of 02/09/22 (or as of the date the query is performed):
– Please provide the zoning map for each Jackson County school.
– Please provide any written rationale or policy/policies to support this zoning configuration.
– Please provide any written policy/policies related to overcrowding of some schools, under enrollment in others, and remedies for each situation.
– Please provide any written stance from the Board of Education as a whole on redrawing school district lines.
