All records have been released in accordance with the North Carolina Public Records Act. Your request has been fulfilled and is now closed. Please reply to this message or contact [email protected] with questions.

**Editor’s Note: The files we received were too large to upload directly to our site, please refer to the below Google Drive link. Additionally, it’s unclear why this request was reopened / updated / closed again by the City – we assume it may just be related to some administrative housekeeping in Next Request by their new records officer. We have reviewed this update, and compared against the files we received previously and nothing seems to have been changed: https://drive.google.com/drive/u/2/folders/1X4NWhUs-1RAluMXw9qb1SwognDqEUgRK

Good afternoon City of Asheville Public Records,

I am following up again on this already completed request:
    https://cityofashevillenc.nextrequest.com/requests/21-59

Upon further review I can see that all associated documents / files / communications we’ve received and sent have not been publicly published by default. We’re asking that you please make this request “public / published” on NextRequest in its entirety, so that the public can view the results and all documents there in addition to our site.

I will plan on following up again at the end of the month if I don’t hear back before then.

    Thank you!

    Good afternoon Leslie,

Both those NextRequest links appear to be for the same request, which was originally sent in to the City’s records officer at the time on 06/10/20. Since then we had been following up via email until the request was eventually put into the City’s new NR system by their records officer in August of 2021.

We don’t know when or why this duplicate request was setup in NR, but we’ve been tracking the request via the original link we were provided, found here: https://cityofashevillenc.nextrequest.com/requests/21-68

The reply we’ve just received is for the same request at the following URL:
    https://cityofashevillenc.nextrequest.com/requests/21-59

If they are saying that the records they’ve provided for “21-59” have been satisfied, and are now public and have been “published” on the City’s site so everyone can see, then we will mark this as “Completed”.

    Thank you!
