The FY17 Minority Report, found here is responsive to request #2 as well. The report shows all MB contracting regardless of vendor location. The data collected is not broken down by location, and therefore, there are not any responsive documents to that part of the request.

Although your response is on our email thread related to Request #1 (below), our follow up sent on Fri. 7/27, was sent in related to the subject of Request #2. There are two similar, but different requests that were recently sent in.

#1. Is “Number of minority owned businesses outside of Asheville / Buncombe that contract with the city of Asheville.” This was marked as Completed on our site as of July 02, 2018. However, we would like to also request that whenever the The FY18 report is compiled, that we are provided with that info.

Also, as a point of clarification, I would like to point out that this request was for the # of business outside of Asheville/ Buncombe that contract with the City. I just reviewed the document you sent, and upon closer inspection it is unclear to me whether the spreadsheet you provided clearly enumerates that info. and which business are outside of AVL / Bunc. Co.

Can you please clarify whether this spreadsheet info. is actually for minority owned businesses just in Asheville, or if it is for businesses outside of AVL / Buncombe, and clearly specify which businesses are outside of the City (or at least provide the # of businesses outside of the City that were contracted with)?

#2 Was: “Number of Asheville / Buncombe minority owned businesses that contract with the city of Asheville.” This is the follow up we sent related to this request on 07/27/18 (see below). It seems like perhaps the document we got back in request #1, is more likely satisfy this request? If the two requests just got mixed up, please let me know.
